Hi Shane,  I hope you've recovered from the heat and are enjoying this cooler weather (although I bet the heat isn't as bad when you're out on the water). David and I have been reminiscing about our wedding day over the last week and really just wanted to say thank you! From our tasting to the big day, you and your team were so great to work with. Shane and his staff at Four and Twenty Blackbirds did a very nice job planning, creating and serving a Welcome Dinner for 30 guests on the weekend of our son's wedding in Hood River. The food was delicious and interesting. We wanted a very casual meal without the need for table space for all and he made bowls with jerk chicken and/or grilled salmon and the sides to complement. We had beautiful fruit tarts for dessert and our guests really enjoyed the menu. The team made it so easy for me to interact with guests and they took care of all of the details in a professional and relaxed way. I'd choose this situation again in a heartbeat!”

Shane and his staff knocked it out if the park for our wedding. We live in the area and have had food at the truck a few times that was delicious so chose him to feed around 80 guests. Wow! The food was truly one of the best meals I have had and not just at a wedding. It was one of the best ever. All of the guests raved about the food. My new husband said the short rib was the best he has ever tasted. The chicken was so tender and seasoned perfectly. The veggies and potatoes were excellent. I loved the peach caprese salad and wish I had more! The food is fresh and most is locally sourced. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Shane was wonderful to work with and I definitely want to eat more of his cooking.
I hope that next year we can have a dinner party and have him cook for it!”

Shane and his team made a trip to Cottonwood Canyon State Park to cater an event for my organization, and we couldn't have been happier with the meal!
